Goog at the Bridge Drive Inn

GoogGoog: An upside down blueberry shake with a hot fudge sundae and bananas topped with whipped cream.

Goog was the reason I traveled halfway across town yesterday evening after work. It did not disappoint. The delicious concoction was totally worth that journey.  GoodThe venue was jam packed. We found out soon after joining the queue that Telus, the phone service provider, was giving away free Bridge Drive Inn (BDI) goog and soft ice cream.

Why, thank you Telus.

We were in line for forty minutes but we walked away with free goog. So I’m not complaining. Plus the weather was great.

My girlfriend and I had plenty of time to chit chat and have a laugh while we waited for our free treats.

There was a girl who stood behind us in the line. She later told us her name is Xin. She seemed to have gone to BDI on her own. I thought that was brave of her. Then again every Winnipeg resident loves BDI so I suppose it wasn’t particularly strange.

After we got our treats we took a picture with the Telus logo in the background to get free noise cancelling earbuds. And we got them, yay!

Thank you, Telus.

Goog dayIt was indeed a fun evening, Telus (in case you are wondering).

Although it was kind of unfair that I had to post my picture on social media to get your free earbuds yet the lady before me only had to take a picture. How come you didn’t ask her to post hers? Sigh!

And Telus, thank you for the free goog and earbuds.
Also thank you for liking the photo you made me post on my Instagram. 🙂

I am a storyteller, a writer. I post new articles every other Tuesday. Life is full of wonder. Life is beautiful. I love the uncertainty that comes with it. The ups and downs of living -its high points and low moments, the good times and the bad. I love it all. But what I love even more, is writing about it! I enjoy mentoring girls and young women. Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing women rocking in whatever they pursue. My writing however, is in most cases unisex. There is a little something for everyone on all matters lifestyle. My most passionate topic areas include fulfilling my life goals (fighting procrastination), my relationship with money,  and self love (because no one else will know how you expect to be treated if you don't treat yourself right). And then there's travel, food, fashion and books. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA). I also possess extensive experience  and education in communication studies. Welcome to my world. Comment, share and have some fun while you're at it. Are you looking for a creative writer? Or would you like to collaborate? Drop me an email at: memoirsofakenyan@hotmail.com
